I love this cartoon I saw on The Daily Dish today. I’m still laughing about the review my Humanoid Central story got when the reader insisted that “androids aren’t like that”. Why do we believe so devoutly in some fictions but not others? Light sabers, for example. Tell me you don’t think they’ll be real someday!
Androids capable of communication, yes. Light sabers? Not so much, regardless of how much I wish it were otherwise.
